We have been passionately developing Polish energy, telecommunications and road infrastructure for more than 35 years. Our ELMO Capital Group has been constantly increasing its operations and opportunities over this time becoming one of the key infrastructure construction industry in Poland. We lead in comprehensive service delivery today focusing on power and energy, metal manufacturing, detached and multi-family house, and road and bridge construction.
Our offer includes professional investment completion in various areas including design and construction of modern power and energy lines that are essential for the sustainable power development in Poland. Using our holistic approach we provide full support at every step of project completion – from the initial concept through detailed design preparation, obtaining required administrative permissions up to the project completion itself. We can effectively manage every aspect of an investment using our experience and knowledge which results in keeping the deadlines and high performance quality.

History
1990
Establishment of Zakład Elektromontażowy ELMO
ELMO S.A. was founded in 1996 but its history dates back to 1990 when Mr. Zdzisław Sawicki – currently the main Company shareholder – established Zakład Elektromontażowy ELMO.
The company initially constructed local low and medium voltage power lines. The scope has been expanded over 11 years to include telecommunications line construction, power and telecommunications line designing, metal manufacturing, industrial power, vehicle service.
2002
Contract with Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (currently Orange Polska SA)
A contract with Telekomunikacja Polska S.A. (currently Orange Polska SA) for maintenance of telecommunications networks concluded in 2002 was another milestone. In January 2006, its scope was significantly expanded and in 2014 it was expanded so that the services covered approximately ¼ of all Orange customers on the area covering approximately 1/3 of the Polish territory. At the end of 2019 we decided to deinvest being fully aware of this business value and – what was very important to us – for the entity that we deemed the best new “home” for our (actually former) staff. ELMO S.A. has not been operating strictly in the telecommunications construction or teletechnical network service industry since the 1st of January 2020. However, collaboration with Orange Polska S.A. provided us with new competencies including competences in distributed project network management.
2006
Collaboration with Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowo-Mostowych
MIKST Sp. z o.o.
In November 2006 our company took the strategic decision to take over the control of Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowo–Mostowych MIKST Sp. z o.o. This essential moment opened new perspectives for us and significantly expanded the scope of services provided.
2007
Conversion into Joint-Stock Company
The legal form of our company was converted from the limited-liability company into the joint-stock company in July 2007. The company entered the railway sector at the same time and completed first power and energy and associated infrastructure discipline orders during railway line construction.
2009
Highest Voltage Power and Energy Construction
We have operated on the highest voltage (110, 220 and 400 kV) power and energy construction market since 2009 where we construct, repair or renovate power and energy stations and lines successfully as evidenced in our numerous letters of reference.
As part of a long-term strategy to build a strong Group capable of completing all construction and installation works ELMO SA acquired economic entities with the scope of operations, market position and perspectives aligned with this strategy.
2011
Company Acquisition (Pile Elbud SA in Cracow)
As part of a strategy to build a strong group capable of completing all works Elmo acquired the company (Pile Elbud SA in Cracow) that specializes in the high voltage power and energy line and station construction. Elmo restructured the company and expanded its competences. However, it was sold at the end of 2015.
2018
Positive General Contractor Qualification Process
The company passes the general contractor qualification process and concludes a framework agreement with PKP Energetyka Kolejowa entering the railway sector. We construct comprehensive traction substations successfully.
2022
Developer Segment
We have expanded our offer since 2022 to include the general large-size structure completion of detached and multi-family houses. It is a groundbreaking step of our company development that opens new opportunities and enables us to complete comprehensive ambitious construction investments – from the concept up to the final handing over of keys. Our operations have been expanded to respond to increasing market needs and prove that we are ready to complete even the most demanding projects.
